Lyon and England defender Lucy Bronze has been named UEFA Women’s Player of the Year for 2018/19 during the UEFA Champions League group stage draw In Monaco.
Bronze beat off competition from teammates Ada Hegerberg and Amandine Henry, who joined her on the three-women shortlist announced on 15 August.
