The 36th Sanremo Rally Storico is hosting Round 1 of the 2021 FIA EHRC this weekend. Many of the competitors have travelled from all over Europe to compete in the championship for the first time since the last rally held in November 2019. On Thursday 8th April the teams prepared their cars for the administrative and technical checks before some took the opportunity to go out into the hills above Sanremo to take to the short 3km shakedown stage. The competition gets underway on Friday morning with Leg 1 of the two day event consisting of six special stages.
